Simple Happiness

Since the beginning of the year "we" have been implementing many changes with our websites, blogs, seo work, linking, networking, etc. and it has been an overwhelming process. When you own your own business you have to wear many hats, I feel like I have so many on that my head has disappeared, which is probably a good job because I need a hair cut and color. While last year was a phenomenal year and I hope for this year to be the same I still can't help but worry about the economic fallout, hence we are doing everything we can to market more and in doing so we are doing it all ourselves. Between learning web programs, and all new technical things, homeschooling my son and trying to keep an active household in check today I am feeling extremely overwhelmed. It didn't help that I had a severe case of chest pain, which of course my first thought was "heart attack", so I had my pity party for a few minutes, pictured myself in the er with everyone around my bed and the opportunity to not be responsible if only for a few days, but then I realized I would miss my dinner date. I then of course snapped out of it, because I don't have time for a heart attack, so I did what any reasonable person would do and asked for some alka seltzer, and it worked, INDIGESTION was all it was. So now I put on my big girl panties and deal with it, between phone calls and searching through a gazillion photos to update the photo gallery I found this photo. I love sunflowers, in fact I am a fan of all wildflowers, they are tough, they outlast the pretty fancy ones and they always bring a smile to my face.

After finding the photo and reading the sentiment, I again remember my dinner date tonight. One of our clients is Valentino Restaurant a fabulously, wonderful restaurant with amazing food and ambience, which we have had the pleasure of decorating many times. We have been a few times for dinner and leave our ordering up to the head waiter Mossimo, who is the most entertaining Italian I know. He always surprises us with 8 to 9 courses and of course excellent wine to accompany each course. I LOVE DINING AT VALENTINO and I get to go tonight. YUMMM I can't wait. So thank you Rachel for inviting us to dine at Valentino, you have definitely spread some sunshine into my life today.
